Here is an easy and economical recipe to prepare pumpkin soup in jars. Perfect to start the meal.

1. Cut the pumpkin into slices, peel, remove the seeds and strings. Cut the flesh into cubes. Peel, chop the onion and put with the olive oil in a pot. Add the diced pumpkin, salt, pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Pour water and cook for 25 minutes at mild tremors until the pumpkin flesh is melting.

2. In a skillet, brown the bacon slices on each side with no fat added . Drain on paper towels.

3. Blend the soup, then put back in the saucepan and heat for 5 minutes. Divide into 4 glasses. Decorate cheese shavings and bacon. Serve immediately.
