Add some fun and colours to your cookies. Here is an easy and quick recipe to make smartie cookies

1. Melt the butter and let it cool. Whisk egg, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Combine melted butter, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add the flour and mix with a wooden spoon. Cover with plastic wrap and store in the fridge for  1 hour.

2. Preheat oven to th. 7-210°C. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop heaping tablespoon-size balls of dough, place them apart. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon dipped in cold water to get cookies from 5 to 7 cm in diameter and about 5 mm thick. Bake for 10 minutes and reserve remaining dough in the fridge.

3. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before you move them with a spatula to a cooling rack.

4. Repeat the same process for a new batch. Decorate with smarties before serving the cookies.
