Potato skewers

1. Prepare the embers of the barbecue (or heat the oven at 200°C (th. 6/7). Wash the potatoes and dry. Crush the pink peppercorns.

2. Cut out 24 squares of aluminium foil. Place the potato in the centre of each foil. Sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Sprinkle the pink peppercorns. Wrap the potatoes in the aluminium foil and place on the grill. Leave to roast for 1 hour or 40 minutes in the oven.

3.During this time, peel and cut the onions in two lengthwise. Remove the potatoes from the grill and unwrap. Thread them on the skewers alternating with the onions. Place the skewers on the grill and sprinkle with olive oil. Grill for 10 minutes, turning the skewers regularly. (For the oven: set your oven in the grill setting and bake for 10 minutes, turning mid-way.)
