Relish in this easy recipe to prepare basmati rice with sautéed shallots butter and red wine.

  Ingredients

1. Peel and slice the shallots. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the shallots without browning.

2. Pour the rice, chicken stock and red wine. Bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and cook over low heat until the rice has absorbed all the broth and wine.

3. Serve hot.
