Here is a gourmet recipe to prepare chicken with dried fruits and saffron. This dish is perfect for a meal with friends or family.

  Ingredients

1. Peel the shallots. Heat the olive oil in a pot and fry the shallots without browning. Then add the chicken legs and let them brown for 5 minutes on each side. Salt and pepper.

2. Preheat the oven to 200°C (th. 6/7).

3. Place the chicken with shallots and cooking juices in a baking dish.

4. Add the golden raisins, dried apricots, almonds and cinnamon sticks. Pour the lemon juice with 20 cl water. Sprinkle saffron threads.

5. Bake for 40 minutes. Baste regularly the chicken. 

Our cooking tip: Prepare this dish the day before to enhance the flavours.
