Ingredients
1. Remove the small bitter end at the base endive. Place in a saucepan, cook with the garlic, covered, for 15 minutes in the melted butter. If necessary, add a little water during cooking.
2. Add the sugar and remove the lid. Let caramelize for another 5 to 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to th. 7-210°C.
3. Wrap the endives in ham slices and arrange them in a baking dish. Cover with béchamel mixed with nutmeg and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
