Chicken parmentier
Gourmand Asia recommends you this easy to prepare this chicken parmentier. This dish will please the whole family.
1. Peel 8-10 large potatoes, cook for 20 minutes. Grate 100g of parmesan cheese. Preheat the oven to 210°C (th. 7).
2. Sauté over low heat 500 g of chopped cooked chicken with a little olive oil, 1 onion and 1 bouquet of Provence herbs. Salt and pepper and drizzle with 1 cup of water to preserve the tenderness of the meat.
3. Mash the cooked potatoes with a little cooking water and 15 cl of heavy cream. In a buttered gratin dish, pour a thin layer of mashed potatoes, top with the meat. Add 50 g of parmesan, then a second layer of mashed potatoes.
4. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan and 2 pinches of nutmeg. Bake for 30 minutes and serve immediately.
