Raspberry apple jam
Not confident enough to make homemade jam? Follow our recipe and prepare an apple raspberry jam within 35 minutes.
1. Peel and core the apples and cut into small pieces. Place the seed in a mousseline tea bag and tie it with a food string. Squeeze the lemon juice.
2. Put the apples, raspberries, lemon juice, sugar and tea bag in a copper pan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring often with a wooden spoon and allow cooking at very light simmer for 15 minutes. Stir and skim off the end of cooking.
3. To check for doneness, leave 1 drop on a cold plate: if it does not freeze, continue a few minutes, stirring continuously. If it freezes, pour the boiling jam into sterilized jars.
4. Clean the lids (also sterilized), seal, turn the jars upside down until complete cooling.
