Ingredients
1. Preheat oven to 150°C (th. 5). Grease a cake pan. Separate yolks from whites.
2. Combine 150 g softened butter with 150 g of granulated sugar for 1 minute. Add the egg yolks, mix 1 minute. Stir 150 g of flour, mix 1 minute. Pour into a bowl.
3. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add them to the mixture.
4. Peel 4 apples, cut them into pieces. Add them to the batter. Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes. Unmold and leave to cool on a cake rack. Serve warm or cold with ½ litre of vanilla custard.
