Camembert and apple turnovers
Here’s an easy recipe to make camembert and apple turnovers. A real treat.
1. Wash 2 red apples, remove the seeds, cut into slices of 2 mm thick. Fry them in a pan for 5-6 minutes over medium heat with 30 g butter. Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and pepper. Stir and cook for 5-6 minutes.
2. Place the apples on a plate. Cut half a camembert cheese into thick slices. Preheat the oven to 200°C (th. 6/7).
3. Put 6 phyllo sheets on the work surface. Arrange the apple slices on the edge of each sheet, then the camembert and pepper. Close the sheets by rolling and folding the edges inside.
4. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with 20 g melted butter. Bake for 10 minutes, until they are golden brown.
