Fish and sesame balls

The slightly spicy flavour of this fish with sesame will awaken the gourmet in you. Impossible to resist!

1. Shell the prawns. Cut the fish into pieces. Peel the onion. Blend.

2. In a bowl, place the mixture, add 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, chili puree, ginger, sesame oil. Mix well. Leave to rest for 30 minutes in the fridge. Form the balls and place on a plate.

3. Drain the chop suey vegetables. Peel and chop the shallots. Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan, toss the shallots for 1 minute. Add the vegetables and leave to cook on moderate heat for 5 minutes. Add the remaining fish sauce. Keep warm and set aside.

4. Fry the balls in 1/2 litre of vegetable oil. When they float back to the surface, they are cooked. Place on a paper towel. Serve with the vegetables, cilantro and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
