Stuffed apples with rice and raisins

Try this sweet dessert stuffed apples with sweet rice and raisins. A scrumptious way to cap off your meal!

1. Hydrate the raisins in water.

2. Immerse the rice for 5 minutes in boiling water. Drain  and rinse with cold water. Drain again and immerse in boiling milk. Add the butter, salt and cook for 25 minutes while covered. Add sugar.

3. Remove the caps on the top of each apple. Hollow out the apples and brown the flesh in butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

4. Crush the nuts. Mix the rice, apple flesh, walnuts, raisins and honey. Stuff in the hollowed apples. Place on an oven tray and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
