Follow our easy recipe to make glazed turnips. A healthy side dish.

1. Peel the turnips and cut them into four wedges. Dip for 10 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain and pass them under cold water to cool.

2. Place the turnips in a skillet, cover slightly with water. Add the butter in pieces and sprinkle sugar.

3. Place the pan over high heat and cook until all liquid has evaporated. Continue cooking while stirring for about 5 minutes.

4. The turnips must quickly take a nice caramel colour. Immediately remove from heat, salt and pepper.
