Caramelized walnut tart
For pastry lovers, here is a simple recipe to make tart with caramelized walnuts.
1. Roll the dough on a floured surface and cut out 6 discs to fit the tartlet molds. Place in the molds, and prick with a fork. Preheat the oven to 180°C (th. 6).
2. Bake the dough for 12 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes out of the oven and unmold.
3. Prepare the caramel cream: cut the butter into pieces and refrigerate. Melt the sugar with the lemon juice in a saucepan over low heat. Do not mix.
4. In another saucepan, heat the cream. Once the caramel is golden, stop cooking. Slowly stir in the hot cream into the caramel while mixing. Then add the butter and mix well.
5. Pour the caramel cream over the dough and sprinkle with walnut kernels. Serve warm or cold.
