1. Cut the pumpkin into chunks, remove the rind, seeds and strings, and then trim the flesh into pieces. Steam for about 30 minutes, then blend until a puree.

2. Mix 3 cl of warm water with the yeast, leave to rest for 5 minutes, then add honey. Stir well.

3. Put the flour and salt in a mixer bowl, pour in the yeast mixture and pumpkin puree and blend for 5 minutes. Transfer the dough in a bowl, cover and let stand for 2 hours.

4. Knead a little bit more the dough and let stand for another 10 minutes. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Then transfer the dough. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

5. Preheat the oven to th. 6/7 – 200°C. Bake for 30 minutes. Check the cooking by inserting the blade of a knife, it should come out clean.

Our baking tip: Serve this bread with jam or cheese, kids will enjoy as well. You can double the proportion and make a big loaf of bread.
