Grilled rice with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers
Here is a rice recipe with browned onions, tomatoes, green and red peppers. An economic family dish.
1. Peel and chop the onions. Wash, dry the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes. Wash, dry and remove the seed of the bell peppers. Cut the bell peppers into strips.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet, add the onions and the bell peppers. Toss for 10 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Pour in the rice and add a tablespoon of oil. Cook until the rice turns translucent. Wet with the vegetable broth and then cook for 10 minutes. Sprinkle the saffron, mix and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Prehear the oven at 210°C. ( th. 7).
4. Divide the rice and vegetables on a gratin dish and sprinkle with gruyere cheese. Bake until golden for 10 minutes. Serve.
