Chicken skewers with peanut and ginger sauce

For your next barbecue party, try this chicken skewers with peanut and ginger sauce. A flavourful dish to share with family and friends.

1. Cut the chicken into regular cubes and put in a dish. Peel and chop the garlic. Peel and grate the ginger. In a bowl, thoroughly mix the two ingredients with coconut milk, turmeric and peanut butter. Pour the mixture over the chicken, wrap and and refrigerate for 1 hour.

2.  Preheat the oven on grill position. Drain the chicken pieces and thread on wooden spikes. Bake for 8 minutes, turning regularly.

3. In a small saucepan, heat the marinade, then blend it until a smooth texture (if necessary, add a little water). Roughly chop the peanuts and sprinkle on the skewers. Serve the sauce on the side and complement with basmati rice.
