Caramelised chicken
A quick-cooking recipe of caramelized chicken. Original and perfect for a weekday evening.
1. Squeeze the oranges and the lime. Cut the chicken into large cubes and place in a dish. Sprinkle with the citrus juice and honey. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge.
2. Preheat the oven at th. 7 – 210°C. Wash, dry and remove the pits from the apricots. Drain the chicken and place in a baking dish. Cover with half the apricots and brush with marinade. Salt and pepper.
3. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
Our cooking tip: If you can’t get apricots, replace them with figs. Cook the chicken after marinating (without the honey) in a pan. Keep warm, set aside then bake the figs. When they are cooked, cut them into quarters and brush the honey on top of the chicken.
