Breaded chicken strips
Gourmand Asia suggests you this recipe of breaded chicken strips. Easy to make, they are ideal for a quick meal or a picnic.
1. Steam the chicken strips for 10 minutes. Beat the eggs in a shallow dish. Pour the breadcrumbs in a second plate. Wash, dry, thin out and chop tarragon.
2. Heat the frying oil in a large saucepan. Dip the chicken strips in the beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs so that they are completely covered.
3. Immerse them gently, by small batches, in hot oil. Fry for 5 minutes, turning constantly with a slotted spoon until they are golden brown.
4. Drain on paper towels. Salt and pepper immediately. Repeat the process for the remaining ingredients.
5. Serve immediately, sprinkled with tarragon and complement with a potato salad and cucumbers.
