Osso buco with leek fondue

Make this easy dish of osso buco with leeks. Make your own sides of sauteed mushrooms for a complete meal.

  Ingredients

1. Wash and chop 2 leeks. Peel and chop 1 large onion and 6 garlic cloves .

2. Season the 8 small slices of osso buco (or 4 large slices) with salt and pepper. Sear in a pan with 100 g of hot butter and garlic.

3. When the meat is brown, add the leeks, the onions and 1 tablespoon of dried thyme. Sear them for a few minutes then add 1/2 litre of white wine and leave to simmer for 1hour 30 minutes over very low heat, stirring from time to time.

4. Place the osso buco on a large dish, pour the leek fondue and cooking juices over. Serve hot with green beans or sauteed mushrooms.

Our cooking tip : You can replace with veal.
