Minced meat samosas
For an easy appetiser try making these minced meat samosas for a crisp and satisfying beginning to your meal.
1. Peel and finely mince the onions and garlic. Wash, dry and chop the cilantro. Wash the red pepper and cut it in 2. Remove the seeds and the white parts. Chop into small cubes.
2. Mix the minced meat with the cumin, paprika, onion, garlic, cilantro and the red peppers. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Lay the pastry sheets on a work surface. Fold the rounded edges towards the centre to obtain a rectangle. Place 1 tablespoon of the filling into the rectangle. Fold the pastry into a triangle. The first corner towards the left, then the second corner towards the right until you obtain a cornet. Tuck the remaining pastry into the cornet. Brush the pastries with the beaten eggs.
4. Heat the oil in a skillet and place the samosas in small batches and fry for about 2 minutes on each side. Serve immediately.
