Lamb tajine with dates
If you love Oriental cuisine, here is a recipe to cook a lamb tajine with dates.
1. Cut the meat into cubes. Peel and slice the onions coarsely. Break the cinnamon sticks into small pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a pot. Brown the cubes of meat on all sides. When they are nicely browned, remove them from the pot and replace them by the onions. Make them sweat for 5 minutes, stirring, without coloring.
3. Add honey and coriander and mix to slightly pickling the onions. Put the meat back and add the cinnamon and dates. Salt and pepper, mix well. Pour a glass of water in the pot and cover. Cook for 1 hour 30 minutes, stirring regularly and adding a little water during cooking if necessary.
4. Divide the tajine on plates, sprinkle with flaked almonds. Serve immediately.
