General informations
Ingredients
1. In a saucepan, combine 250 g caster sugar with 4 tablespoons of water. Cook over low heat until a syrup texture.
2. Peel 6 pears, cut in half and sprinkle with the lemon juice. Place the pears in caramel and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Drain, let cool and sprinkle with 100 g of almonds just before serving.
