Whiting fish with pumpkin

1. Cut the pumpkin into cubes. Peel, remove the seeds and white filaments.

2. Peel and chop finely the garlic and shallots. Lightly flour the fish.

3. Heat the oil in a pot. Add the garlic and shallot, stirring, then add the pumpkin cubes. Reduce the heat and cover. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

4. Remove the pumpkin cubes and add the fish. Quickly brown them and put the pumpkin cubes. Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper and pour a glass of water into the pot. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

5. Serve immediately after cooking with white rice.

Our cooking tip: Cook the pumpkin cubes apart in a pan with 1 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 50g of butter. When the liquid has evaporated, continue cooking for 2 minutes, stirring lightly to caramelize the pumpkin cubes.
