Stuffed squid
Prepare stuffed squid with our recipe. A dish that seafood lovers will enjoy.
1. Clean the squids. Separate the head from the tentacles and empty by removing the cartilage, bowels and ink bag. Rub the outside of the coat to remove the thin skin. Using a knife, remove the head, the rigid beak and eyes. Rinse and dry.
2. Finely chop the heads and tentacles with a knife.
3. Wash the tomatoes and cut into very small dice. Wash, thin out and chop basil. Soak the breadcrumbs in milk.
4. Peel and slice the onions. Heat the oil in a pot. Make the onions sweat, stirring, for 5 minutes, then add the tomatoes, chopped squid and basil. Continue cooking for 10 minutes. Drain the bread.
5. Add to the preparation and mix.
6. Preheat the oven to 210°C (th. 7). Stuff the squid with the preparation, close with wooden cocktail picks. Place in a baking dish. Sprinkle with tomato sauce, salt and pepper.
7. Pour the white wine in the bottom of the dish. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
