Stuffed mussels with herbs
To all seafood lovers: here is a recipe to prepare stuffed mussels with herbs. A perfect dish for the holidays.
1. Rinse the mussels and pour into a saucepan. Add the wine, cover and cook until the mussels are completely open. Drain and let cool. Strain the cooking juice and set aside. Wash and dry the parsley, then chop finely. Peel and chop the garlic and shallot. Remove the crust of the bread slices and dip the bread in the milk. Crumble it.
2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the garlic and shallot for 2 minutes without browning. Add the bread crumbs and parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside. Preheat the oven to th. 5-150°C. Shell the mussels, setting the shells aside. Stuff the shell with the parsley, and add the mussel.
3. Tie up the shells with kitchen twine to keep them closed. Arrange the stuffed mussels in a baking dish and drizzle with the cooking juice. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve right out of the oven.
