Red pepper and mozzarella tartines
Try this easy red pepper and mozzarella tartines. A healthy starter.
1. Roast the peppers in the oven, using tongs carefully turn pepper often until skin blisters evenly on all sides. Take out of the oven and allow to cool before peeling. Cut in half, remove the stems and seeds. Cut into strips.
2. Drain the mozzarella and cut into slices. Peel, remove garlic germ and chop. Wash, dry and thin out basil. Chop half of it and reserve the rest for decoration.
3. Combine garlic and chopped basil with 1 tablespoon of oil.
4. Toast the bread slices. Brush with oil. Cover with pepper slices and mozzarella slices. Sprinkle the garlic and basil mixture. Drizzle with oil. Sprinkle sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Garnish with basil leaves and serve the tartines immediately.
