Saffron and olive oil ice cream

Saffron and olive oil for dessert may sound odd but this combination is a match made in heaven.

  Ingredients

1. Boil the milk with saffron. In a bowl, mix the sugar, egg yolks and oil.

2. Filter the milk and simmer and stir until a thick mixture.

3. Pour into an ice cold bowl to cool it quickly. Pour in a cake mould and place in a freezer for 3 hours.
