Goat cheese and basil parcels
Looking for a smart and easy appetizer to achieve? These goat cheese and basil parcels will delight all your guests.
1. Cut the cheese into 24 fine slices. Rinse, dry and chop the basil leaves. Preheat the oven at th. 6 – 180°C.
2. Cut the pastry sheets in two. Brush with honey on 1 side only. Place a slice of cheese in the middle of each. Season with pepper and spinkle 1 pinch of paprika. Sprinkle the basil.
3. Fold the dough into little parcels, oil them and place on an oven tray lined with buttered parchment paper. Bake for 6 minutes and turn them mid-way. They should be golden brown. Remove from the oven and tie it with a sprig of chive, like a present. Serve.
Our Cooking tip: As an aperitif or an entree, you can serve this with arugula salad and pair them with a dry white wine.
