Strawberry jam tartlets
Make these strawberry jam tartlets for snack with a hot chocolate. Children and adults will love it.
1. Preheat the oven to th. 6-180°C. In a bowl, combine the flour with 2 tablespoons of almond powder, 60g butter, 40g icing sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Knead with your fingertips to get a sandy dough. Add 1 egg and kead again. Roll out the pastry on a floured surface to a thickness of 3 mm. Buttered 6 tartlet molds and transfer the dough. Prick with a fork and let rest for 30 minutes.
2. Mix in a bowl the almond powder, icing sugar and the remaining butter with the cornstarch and the second egg, until a creamy texture. Spread 1 tablespoon of jam into each tartlet shell, cover with 1 tablespoon of the almond cream and bake for 25 minutes.
3. Let the tartlets cool from the oven, unmold and decorate with jam.
Our baking tip : You can substitute the almond cream by crushed macarons.
