Croque-madame
Each croque-madame is prepared with a few slices of ham and cheese, then put into the oven for a few minutes. Discover the recipe.
1. Lightly butter the slices of white bread. Cut the slices of ham in two then into the sizes of the bread.
2. On each slice of white bread, place 2 slices of ham over each other, 1 slice of cheese and cover with another slice of bread.
3. Preheat the oven at 240°C (th. 8). Place it in an oven tray lined with aluminium foil. Bake for 10 minutes and turn at the 5 minute mark.
4. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, heat oil in a pan. Break the eggs and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Place the croque-monsieur on the plate and place the sunny side up egg on top. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve.
