1. Wash and drain the lettuce leaves. Slice gherkins and eggs.

2. Make 12 beef patties of 60 grams each.

3. Peel and mince onions. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions, then place beef patties and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Salt and pepper.

4. Preheat oven on broiler.

5. Open the burger buns in half and place in the oven till golden. Place a lettuce leaf, the beef patty, top with gherkins, egg and onion. Then add one more beef patty with sautéed onions.

6. Cover with bun. Serve immediately with fries.
