Chocolate, apple and ginger maki

This dessert is a great marriage between chocolate, apple, ginger and rice. The result is amazing with a delicate aroma and exquisite flavor.

1. Split the vanilla pod and scrape the seeds with the tip of a knife. Pour into a saucepan with 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder and milk. Mix and heat gently. Add the rice and cook for 20 minutes.

2.  Peel the apple, remove the heart and seeds and cut into small dice. Sprinkle with lemon juice and ginger.

3.  Spread the rice on a large sheet of plastic wrap to a thickness of 1 cm. Divide the diced apple in the center. Form a tight coil. Set aside for 1 hour in the fridge.

4. Unwrap. Cut into sections of 2 cm wide. Pour 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder on the work surface and roll the maki in it. Serve chilled.
