‘I mix the filling with leek soup or cream of mushroom, then I add smoked bacon,caramelised shallots and a dash of nutmeg!’

That makes us hungry!

Isabella C. reveals her secret ingredient:

 ‘I always add a pinch of nutmeg in the base. For the filling, it is up to you or up to your leftovers. I cook them with bacon or onions before mixing with the filling.’

‘I use mustard on the base of the tart and never shredded gruyere! Everything else depends on the type of quiche.’
