If there is one sauce you need to learn to make, it is a homemade vinaigrette.

Vinegar, oil, salt and mustard are the key ingredients. This basic sauce is mainly used for salad dressing, but also with steamed vegetables and fishes.

We propose you a simple and quick recipe to make this basic seasoning.

Here is a simple 3-step method :

STEP 1 :

In a bowl, put one teaspoon of mustard. Add 3 tablespoons of vinegar. Mix together.

STEP 2 :

Gradually add 6 tablespoons of olive oil while continuing to stir.

STEP 3 :

Season with fine salt and pepper to taste.

Our tips:

1. You can replace the wine vinegar with balsamic or xeres vinegar.

 

2. You can flavor your salad dressing with herbs, such as parsley or chives.
