Chocolate mousse
The chocolate mousse is a classic dessert that will please everyone. Feel free to add mandarin or orange segments.
1. Break the chocolate into pieces in a pan, add the milk and melt over low heat, stirring until the mixture is smooth and pour into a bowl.
2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks, add the yolks one by one into the melted chocolate and mix well between each addition.
3. Whip the egg whites with 1 pinch of salt into stiff peaks and stir gently into the chocolate mass to not break the whites.
4. Divide the mousse into 6 ramekins. Place in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
Our baking tip: Chocolate mousse can also be made with whipped cream instead of egg whites. You can also add tangerine or orange segments with a little orange flower water.
