Potato gratin with chicken
Add some chicken to your traditional potato gratin. An easy recipe to make and delicious.
1. Cut the chicken breasts into strips. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with herbs of Provence. Salt and pepper. Mix.
2. Peel and slice the onions. Peel and chop the garlic cloves.
3. Melt the duck fat in a frying pan and add the onions, stir with a wooden spoon. Add the chicken and garlic. Continue cooking for 10 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to th. 7-210°C. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut into slices. Pour into a bowl. Season and sprinkle with nutmeg.
5. Bring the chicken stock and white wine to a boil in a saucepan. Let reduce slightly.
6. Arrange half the potatoes in a baking dish. Add the chicken mixture. Cover with the remaining potatoes. Baste with the white wine broth and add knobs of butter. Place the gratin in the oven for 50 minutes.
