Savoury sun-dried tomato cake
Make an original dish with this savoury cake recipe with sun-dried tomatoes accompanied by a creamy mozzarella.
1. Preheat the oven to th. 6/7 – 200°C. Pour the flour and yeast in a bowl. Make a hole in the center and pour the oil and milk. Salt and pepper. Mix by incorporating the eggs one by one.
2. Slice the sun-dried tomatoes and dice the mozzarella. Cut the olives into small pieces. Chop the basil. Add the tomatoes, mozzarella, olives and basil into the dough. Mix well.
3. Buttered and floured a loaf pan. Pour the batter and gently tap the bottom of the mould to remove any air bubbles. Bake for 40 minutes.
4. Check for doneness with a knife: it should come out clean. Let cool and unmould on an oven rack. Serve warm or cold.
