Stir-fried white asparagus with beef

Take advantage of this seasonal treat by cooking this stir-fried white asparagus with marinated beef dish.

1. Peel the white asparagus and cut off the ends. Tie them in bundles and boil for 10 minutes in salted water. Unstring the green beans and add to the aspargus and cook for another 10 minutes. Drain.

2. Cut the beef into strips. Heat the peanut oil in a wok and fry the chopped onions for 1 minute on very high heat. Add 1/2 of the sesame seeds. Incorporate the beef slices and cook for 2 minutes without stirring. Then add the asparagus and green beans  and cook for another 3 minutes.

3. Divide the meat and the vegetables into four bowls. Pour honey and soy sauce into the wok and boil for 1 minute over high heat. Baste the bowls with the sauce and garnish with the rest of the sesame seeds. Serve.
