Five-spice beef skewers

1. Wash the eggplants. Dice into small cubes. Boil a pot of salted water and blanch the eggplants for 5 minutes. Drain.

2. Cut the meat into small cubes. Cut the stems of the onions from 1 cm of the bulbs.

3. Put the cubes of meat, eggplants, onions in a large dish.

4. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and sprinkle with 5 spice mixture. Mix and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

5. Prepare the barbecue or the plancha. Drain the meat and vegetables and thread them onto skewers. Cook for 10 minutes, turning regularly. Serve warm.
