Scallops with steamed green vegetables

For a healthy and diet dish, here is an easy recipe to cook steamed vegetables with scallops.

1. Rinse the peas. Wash and trim off the stem ends of the snow peas. Wash and separate the broccoli into small florets. Wash the green asparagus.

2.  At the bottom of the  steamer, put water to boil with a handful of coarse salt and thyme.

3. Place the peas and snow peas in the steamer and cook for 10 minutes. Add broccoli and asparagus. Cook for 10 minutes. Vegetables should be crispy.

4. In a bowl, mix the pesto with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic.

5. In a pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook the scallops for about 1 minute on each side.

6. Divide the steamed vegetables into 6 plates. Sprinkle with pesto. Salt and pepper. Add scallops. Sprinkle with sea salt and decorate with a parsley leaf. Serve immediately.
