Sauteed prawns with pineapple
Find out our prawn recipe with pineapple, pepper, onion and sesame oil. You will love it.
1. Skin off the pineapple, remove the scraggly dots, called eyes, slice and cut into small cubes. Coarsely chop the coriander seeds. Peel and slice the onion. Wash the red pepper and cut it in half, remove the seeds and white parts, then slice. Shell the prawns leaving only the shell tail.
2. Heat oil in a large pan and quickly sauté the coriander seeds for 1 minute over high heat, stirring. Add the onion and pepper, and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring regularly.
3. Add the diced pineapple and cook for an another 10 minutes. Then stir in the prawns and sauté everything on high heat for 5 more minutes. Add salt and pepper and serve immediately.
