Chocolate cigarette cookies
Here is a tasty and original recipe: the chocolate cigarette cookies. Everybody will enjoy it.
For 20 pieces:
1. Beat the egg with the sugar and vanilla extract. Stir in gradually the flour, then the butter cut into small pieces. Work quickly the dough by hand, form a ball, wrap with cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
2. Preheat the oven to 180°C (th. 6). Drop small heaps and roll them on a lightly floured surface, so to obtain thin sticks of about 10 cm long. Round the ends.
3. Line a parchment paper on a baking sheet and transfer the cookie sticks. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly browned.
4. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, dip them one by one, gently shake to remove excess of chocolate, then place the cigarettes on a parchment paper.
