Swiss roll with orange jelly
For snack or dessert, we recommend this Swiss roll recipe with orange jelly. A gourmet and original treat.
1. Preheat the oven to th. 6/7 – 200°C. Prepare the sponge cake: Whisk 3 whole eggs with 75 g of sugar in a bowl until the mixture doubles in volume and whitens. Stir in 90 g flour and mix.
2. Cover a baking sheet with a parchment paper. Pour the batter and smooth with a metal spatula. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove the biscuit from the oven and flip it on a damp cloth. Place a parchment paper on the sponge cake and roll it on itself. Let cool.
3. Unroll the cake and spread 4 tablespoons of orange jelly evenly over the entire surface, then roll again the cake, no too tight. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
4. Heat the remaining orange jelly in a small saucepan and brush on top of the cake. Cut the ends and serve immediately.
