Crêpes batter

Every year, on February 2nd, in some parts of Europe, we celebrate Chandeleur, also known as Candlemas. Originally a Christian tradition, it has now been dubbed as crêpe day.

Lot of beliefs and stories are actually linked to Chandeleur. It also marks the end of the cold days. With their bright yellow colour and round shape, crêpes symbolize the sun.
It is also said that if you can flip the crêpe while holding a coin on the other hand, it will bring you wealth for the coming year. So good luck!

To inspire you, we have selected 10 crêpe recipes, from the basic batter to salty, fruity and sugary flavours.
