Chef Cherish reveals the secret of the perfect English scones.

Ingredients
1. Combine butter, sugar, flour, salt, lavender and lemon zest in a mixing bowl.
2. Crumble the mixture with a blender. Add in the milk, egg and honey. Mix till the mixture forms a dough.
3. Stop mixing and transfer the dough onto the table. Knead the dough and roll to about 2 cm. Cut with a round cutter.
4. Prepare the egg wash and brush the top. Leave to rest for 15 minutes.
5. Bake at 200 °C for 14 minutes till golden brown.
6. Serve with jam and clotted cream.
