Coffee mousse and candied orange peel

If you like candied orange peel, this delicious dessert is for you! This is more than a chocolate mousse, it is a chocolate and orange mousse!

  Ingredients

1. Heat 5 minutes over low heat the cream with the coffee extract. Meanwhile, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Mix the yolks with sugar until they turn pale.

2. Stir the eggs into the sweet cream and whisk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spatula. When the cream coats the spatula, stop cooking. Pour the mixture into a bowl and let cool.

3. Beat the egg whites with 1 pinch of salt. Stir them gently to the cold cream coffee. Divide into 4 small pans. Place in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

4. Just before serving, garnish with candied orange peel. Serve immediately.

Our baking tip: Complement this dessert with cookies such as speculoos.
