Honey chicken with almonds

Generously flavored with cinnamon and cumin, try your hand at this chicken with honey and almonds recipe.

1. Peel the shallot and cut in two. Cut the chicken breasts into pieces. Wash and dry the tomatoes and cut in two. Crumble the cubes.

2. Heat oil in a pot and brown the chicken. Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon. Fry the shallots over moderate heat.

3. When the shallots are brown, place the chicken pieces and add the almonds. Sprinkle with cinnamon and cumin, pour in the honey.

4. Pour a large glass of water into the pot. Add the cubes and then cook for 1 hour, mixing regularly. Pour a little water during the cooking if needed. After 45 minutes, add the tomatoes and finish cooking uncovered.

5. Serve with fine semolina
