Walnut cakes with strawberries

Follow our easy recipe and make delicious walnut cakes with strawberries.

1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (th. 5).

2. Crush the walnuts in a mortar. In a bowl, whisk 140g of sugar and eggs, then add the flour, nuts, softened butter, a pinch of salt and Armagnac. Mix well and divide the dough into small flexible molds.

3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

4. Make a julienne of strawberries (keep some whole strawberries for decoration). Place a slice of the walnut cake in each plate, make half a circle with the julienne strawberries and decorate the top of the cake with half a strawberry.

5. Prepare a caramel with 40 g of sugar and a little water, and coat.
