Pork fillet with carrots
Gourmand Asia shows you the best way to cook a tender pork fillet with a side of carrots. Serve this at your next dinner party.
1. Peel and wash the carrots. Cut the pork into quarters. Peel and chop the shallots.
2. Cook the meat for 2 minutes on each side in a pressure cooker with 5 cl of olive oil. Add the shallot and cook for another 2 minutes. Then, place the carrots and the brown sugar, white wine, water, the rosemary and thyme into the cooker. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Close the cooker and turn up the heat on the pressure cooker to high, and let the meat cook for 10 minutes. Open and transfer the meat and carrots on a plate
4. Boil the meat juice. Add 1 tablespoon of cream and let it reduce for 2 minutes. Incorporate the cheese and whisk. Pour the sauce on to the pork fillet and carrots.
